So the ground is rattling eh?

At least that shows that they're attentive. The government (under our DPM's voice) is changing the English for Sc n Maths policy.

Eh. Not change la, rather just to "ally the concern of parents". Didn't they say that the decision is final? No change will be done except for putting "better quality" English teachers.

A short note to the teachers who is reading this (or anyone interested), when I first read about producing "better quality" English teachers, I felt as if a big typhoon just smacked you guys away from the face of the earth. Does that statement mean that our teachers now are bad? That all the while, the government was producing "lousy" teachers all this while? That was the impression I got. Although, I don't suggest the same.

Anyway,

the change is that those who are currently studying these subjects in English can continue doing so until they end their secondary school. Students are also given the choice to answer in both English or the national language (I doubt people would go for this).

Concern with parents' worry he say? Aren't many parents worried about the whole change in the first place? Many parents demand to be given the choice to choose the language for their children, but no "ally" is heard about it yet. I personally think that the government realizes that they made a big blunder and is now trying to extinguish an invisible wildfire with more blunders. The ratio between government's decision and the impact on the people is like 1:10000000000. The gradual minimal change their making is burdening the rakyat.

We'll see what will happen next. I'll be sure to get my laugh box all ready.
