Challenge.
Firstly, we have to wait for the teacher who comes inconsistently, and late sometimes, resulting most of my classmates waiting outside the room everyday. I don't blame the teacher though. Secondly, the room has a funny smell. Too dusty maybe. There's no dustbin (not that we really need it actually, but still). The room is very big and it's holding us 5 students. Pretty soon it's gonna be left with maybe two of us. Are we still gonna be put there? But the thing I love the most regarding my "classroom" is the never ending power outage. The room is located in a quite enclosed place. We don't get much fresh air and natural sunlight, so you could imagine how stuffy and dark it could be. The school also seems to forget allocating time for us Lower Form 6 students for Lab use. Obviously, we have no choice at times but to sit in our class during science subjects. Well, at least we have much more room to study. To add in the thrill, we read in the dark and hear our own echoes. But today, our so called classroom was locked, was needed for some decorating or something like that. So yea, we had to float around with our bags, wasting precious time and energy going to this lab, that lab. I'm no Bio student, but we had our chemistry and physics lesson in the biology lab.
I can't deny that I'm dissapointed with the school's system, but it won't stop me from striving for knowledge. Accepting these as the challenges I need to face to gain success. Who knows, it might prove satisfactory at the end of the road. But I hope my school's administration will do something about this matter. We students feel this a serious matter to attend to, but what is being done about it? I don't see any changes or any steps taken to solve this problem. If our (students) quality starts to deteriorate, are we the only ones to blame? You were the ones that made us float around the school in the first place.
Anyway, if you're asking do I have a conducive class, I don't need to answer now, do I?
Don't be fooled easily.
UMNO stated that this debate would only cause further confusion among the Malays and worsen the matter.
How will this reply possibly be accepted by the people? Many debates between the ministers have gone well so far. Surely, this would give people the answers to their load of unanswered questions. But why decline the offer, UMNO? Aren't you people powerful and intellectual? Is it possible that ou are somehow frightened with something we don't know of? Understand this readers, UMNO wants to unite the Malays but they are afraid of having a debate to settle the issues. The idea of uniting the Malays is undoubtedly beneficial to the people and the government. So why not let this debate be held?
On the other hand, we people should realise that government is only diverting our attention now. Don't believe me? Read this extract I got from the news after Australia reported its fourth swine flu-related death.
"It is important to remember that in the vast majority of cases human swine flu is a mild illness which many people recover from without medical treatment," said Victoria's chief health officer Rosemary Lester, announcing the death.
Swine flu is a serious outbreak. But note that "people can recover without medical treatment". It's not as bad as people are fearing it to be. Try to look at it the other way. Think outside the box. Somehow, the government is making a real big issue out this matter. Real big in fact, that they manage to put a real big fear in us till we forget what's going on in the "political world". The government is being shaky but they're letting us pay our attention to this matter. Some of the readers might say in their heads or loudly "Coba kau kenak demam tok, agik kau padah cam ya?" or "Would your views still be the same if you're suffering from this disease? You're only 18 and you still need the government, boy". Maybe this was not the plan the government had in mind and maybe they just won a race they didn't participate in. I'm not condemning the government or maybe what I've written puts me in that position, I just want the people to look before they leap. Not everything you see or read is true. Think twice, be reasonable and most importantly, don't be fooled easily. However, protect ourselves from this disease.
Watch Out.

Ngah.
A mystery in this mysterious time.
Uhh..
What am I suppose to say?
"The number of roads accidents in Kidurong Higway is increasing mainly because of the bad road planning and the free bumpy rides it gives. The only thing that is done is patching up the pot holes, making it more unlevel just to add in the bumps in the fun."
"Sarawak Education minister made a statement that sexual misconducts in school is not so serious. No one made ant statement against it the next day, so I guess it's alright for teachers to perform oral sex to their students."
"The opposition seems to be getting a grip on the people by winning a lot of votes but BN says it's nothing to be afraid of. In fact, they(BN) just keep on slamming and thrashing the opposition through any way possible because they are very PROUD of their achievement."
"People always ask for my race whenever there's a school program. Why? The Bumis will get to experience 1st class transportation and services? Is 1Malaysia applicable with this Bumiputera policy?"
Could I say something like this? I'm just going to waste my precious time talking. Hey, I'm only a kid. Pfft.
Here's what I'm going to do tomorrow. I'm going to take my place on the stage or in front of the class, clear my throat, put on a joyful face and say these four words:
"The government is lovely."

Rest In Peace, King.
The tragic news of the death of Michael Jackson at aged 50 sent shock waves all over the world. The phenomenally gifted performer will always be alive in the hearts of many. His will surely leave an unstained legacy after his departure. "Thriller", his most successful album, sold over 50 million copies worldwide, is the highest selling album of all time. Whether you are a fan or not, you can't deny the impact he brought to everyone. Being a child prodigy, he grew up to be loved by many and touched the hearts of people through his own unique and phenomenal style.
I knew the news of his death when I was in school. My friend came up to me and simply said. "Michael Jackson Died". Of cousre, I thought it was a joke at first.
I've always enjoyed listening to Michael when I was young. The reminiscence of attempting to follow his dance moves will always be in my memories. I used to fool around with my family friends, saying I will be able to the "Moonwalk" when I grow older.. Remains a dream till 2day.. Haha.. Watching his showmanship is just amazing. He was such an entertainer. Singing and dancing like it was the only thing that mattered in his life. It's sad he's gone, especially after he excited his fans with a comeback.. Was looking forward to it though.. Sigh.. May God have mercy on your soul, Mike..

Mind Not Opened Wide Enough.
I think I'm going overboard here. I have that tendency. Haha..
Well, as for me, I want wisdom, and with that, I need knowledge which helps me obtain understanding. One of the best way is by reading and applying my knowledge in my everyday life, without being too prideful or ashamed of my own understanding. I want to know more about life, especially physics, my favourite field of science. So for now, I just have to focus on my studies, read the papers and magazines cause I want to know what's going around the world so I may share my thoughts with people. It'll be nice to be able talk to anyone on just about anything. People would be respected. =D

Pathetic.
Yeah, I respect you as my superior, I just don't respect your lack of knowledge wisdom that one who a holds a position similar as yours should or rather MUST have. Unless you prove yourself worthy of giving service to the people, you will never earn the respect you are supposed to get, whatever it is.
Here's another piece of advice, DON"T COME UNPREPARED. I know your are best at that, but try a different approach, you know, maybe it'll give yourself a chance to redeem your "honor". You're only leaving us drowning in our own bewilderment that you ignited and you're being so ignorant about it. Stop making yourself a joke cause I want to learn.
A Thought On History.
"We learn from history that we learn nothing from history" - George Bernard Shaw
Frustrating at times trying to accept that fact cause we want to run away from it.. Denying our falsehood and making a get away from a chase we can't escape.. The past is the key of unlocking a bright future. We may not realise it, but we show our anger at times because we lost to history. We have lost to our past mistakes. We give in to being defeated.. Loosing control of our emotions is a bad way of self escapism. (I do catch myself being in these situations at times)
People make mistakes. You and I, we're the same. Just try not to be pulled back by guilts from before and letting it out your innocent friends. Give yourself a chance everytime you do something wrong and that'll help you. Don't be selfish and prideful as to think there's no way of handling your "bad history". Family and friends are out there to perceive you, not deceive you.And as the famous saying goes :-
"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it."
Bear that in mind.

Sarawak education director says sexual misconduct in schools not that serious.
"Sarawak education director Dr Julaihi Bujang yesterday said sexual misconduct in the Sarawak is NOT THAT ALARMING and promised to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety of school children.
“The number of offenders compared to the number of our teachers at 38,000 and support staff around 8,000, the situation can be considered not serious.”
“But we view each and every case seriously because we want all our staff to be cleared of such misconduct,” he was reported as saying by local daily yesterday at SMK St Columba’s 80th anniversary celebration in Miri yesterday.
According Dr Julaihi the teacher accused of molesting four primary school girls from a rural school in Sebauh in Bintulu Division had been given a two-month suspension and is reported to be currently under remand for seven days to facilitate police investigation.
Dr Julaihi said the suspension was to prevent him from interfering with the investigation or be a threat to the victims.
The 24 year old teacher was transferred to the school earlier this year. He taught four subjects – Moral Education, Local Studies, Physical Education and Health Education.
Sarawak education department would provide therapy for the four victims Dr Julaihi said.
He reassured parents and the public, any teachers or support staffs if convicted of sexual misconduct or involved in drug abuse will not be allowed back into the service.
“This is an isolated case. I trust we have good teachers in Sarawak and I urge them to carry out their duties with full responsibility and not be demoralised by the incident,” he said."-end-
My Goodness. Is this making a fool out of himself or what? What if the victim was or were his own flesh and blood? Would it still be not serious?? You're being oblivious to this situation.
Our education director is superb. A real genius. He makes the greatest statement without dropping a sweat. Bravo, bravo. Is Dato' Tiong to be blame again like last year?
You trust you have good teachers? Alright. He only molested FOUR girls, right? NO big deal. He shouldn't have been given any suspension at all. I mean, it is not a serious matter. So parents, your children are extremely safe, in terms of sexual misconducts, in school. In fact, they are given free "Practical Sex Education" in school.
Act and speak wisely, ministers. We all don't want these immoral things to happen and put a scar into the "Schooling Memories" our young ones. Teachers too, just do your job.
Anyway, I believe that this teacher would get away with it and cause the matter is not serious. Seriously. We'll see after 2 months.
"I'm not condemning every teacher. I respect them."
Will Get Used
Speaking through my own heart beat,
It’s not that I don’t appreciate,
The words just won’t let me admit it,
Time is not my friend anymore,
I can’t even trust something without life,
Who am I to me then?
All I did was contained myself,
Opening up would cause a worse stir up,
I’m a circle of fire,
Trouble is all around me,
I’ll have to get used,
Get used to this feeling,
When people look through you,
Instead of seeing what’s in you,
It began uneasy cause,
Questions with no answers asked,
To see if I was paying the price,
No. No. No.
It wasn’t enough for me,
I never had enough,
Stopped doing many things,
And still it never actually stopped,
So then again,
As I said,
I’ll get used to it,
Is it solitary confinement of the soul?
I’ll understand what it means,
Where nobody wants to know myself,
I would know how to handle it,
Sooner or later,
I’ll get used to being alone,
All the time.
Form 6.
As much as I hate to admit it, most people were right. Form 6 is no walk in the park.
There’s just a load of things to cover a one half year. After more than a month “going back to school” , I can’t imagine those who had a weak foundation in subjects such as Physics and Maths (I’m taking science stream – physics) going through it. I’ve only tasted so little of its medicine and yet I can somehow conclude that this is not going to be easy. Though I must say that I did have a good basic start when I was in Form 4 & 5, but still, the gap between the topics is so great that one needs a really high level of understanding, which I’m climbing. It’s no wonder I heard some people (I’ve read in some threads as well) who studied for Form 6 said that if one does very well in STPM, continuing with a degree course would be a piece of cake. STPM is recognised worldwide and is one of the toughest exam to pass because of its ridiculously wide syllabus. One must be matured enough and must be able to adopt the changes.
As for me, I have already made my choice to study for Form 6 two years ago and I said to myself that it would not be a decision that I would regret one day. I’m still trying to get used to burying myself in those books without secluding myself from society. Haha.. Many discouraged me before due to my good results in SPM, but the ego in me made me accept the great challenge and the thought of wanting to prove people wrong is overpowering my senses. Plus, it’ll give me a good head start in universities in the future, provided if I do well in my STPM.
So, I hope my family, friends and teachers would constantly show their support.
For real?
Come on. Is this serious? There shouldn't be any argument on this matter anymore.
It is a fact that English plays a very important role in developing one's social skills, especially in this era of globalisation. The Education Minister did stress on this matter, yet the people just cannot accept this simple fact. No one is saying that Bahasa Malaysia is useless. It's importance just doesn't top English. Most varsities offer their science and maths based courses in English. Doesn't the rakyat see this fact?
If the Government decides to use BM again, we all know that there will be a "scene" nationwide. And years later, the government would listen to the rakyat again and will reconsider of changing it back. It'll be like a circular motion causing your people to be nothing but confused with the "indecisive" Government. Stick to English, Vision 2020 needs it. You don't want to see signs like this now right?
Learning English by it's single subject in schools is surely not sufficient enough to improve the people's command on the language. Therefore, Maths and Science in English will not only ensure a better place in varsities, but improves their command in the language as well. Hitting two birds with a stone.
Bahasa Malaysia is the national language and it will always remain that way. You don't need to fear for its extinction for it won't happen.
Thanks Buddy.
Sleepless night. Y?
Thinking and worrying too much. Y?
I wish I knew. Caffeine was not in me.
Whatever happened to counting sheep?
Shouldn't it be jumping over the fence to actually put me to sleep? ngah.
After "seventy three sheep jumping over the fence", I gave up.
Reached out for the Bible and flipped to the most random page.
I woke up with the Book next to me.
Thank you Jesus, my friend. You've beaten the sheep effortlessly.
