Can anybody offer me rational tips on how to blog?

I think I've been too engrossed with nothing.

"Rex, what are you thinking?"
"Nothing. Today is so hot even my bed is sweating. I'm thinking of how to sleep in a sweaty bed!?"

I snooped around StarOnline today and I'm fired with an endless barrage of bullets carrying news regarding adultery, violence or any immoral acts or suicide. And they are the most viewed piece of news.


Something is not right here now is it? I heard a lecture before given by some famous dude and he mentioned that we should not read the papers in the morning cause it might distort our "I feel good, fresh air's good" feeling. Bad news would only ruin our 'good vibe' for the day. Initially, I had to disagree with a statement like that, cause lunch breaks with the boys at work would be less of the expected social norm if you talked about yesterday's news.

"Wow! Yesterday's newspaper/news were all great! I can't wait to find out what happened yesterday in today's newspaper when I read it before bed tonight!"

It's no wonder results for the election are always at night.

Still. What if bad news was present? Would it not distort our sleep? Or maybe his philosophy was "He'll sleep it through".

Anyway, we got to learn to balance from what's right and what's wrong. What the news have to tell us, it should help us the world at a whole different perspective. Is it not a social problem when these kind of news gets the most attention and yet, nothing is physically done to overcome it?

The mind's of many is just too enclosed. It's a severe damage that not many will stretch out their hands in case they too get the dirt on their bleached clothing.

I'm frightened. What will the future be?

Violence is taking over school

Students are getting more rebellious if we are aware of the news surrounding our nation. Children are the voices of tomorrow, and teacher is the essential element that help polish their voices. It's either they end up singing in an orchestra or standing way back in choral speaking, or probably remain as the person who talks crap loudly in coffee shops.

Yesterday, I posted a news regarding a girl being beaten up by students for giving in to their financial demands. And mentioned that these occurrences happen quite often.

Today, I'm going to treat you with another piece of news acquired from TheStar Online. This particular student is slightly more valour in his actions than yesterday's Geng Kapak.

Teacher hurt after attack by student

KULIM: A disciplinary teacher sustained eight stitches on his head after a pupil threw a plastic table at him.

The 38-year-old teacher was talking to the newly elected committee members of the Mathe-matics and Science Association when the incident occurred at 1pm on Wednesday.

Declining to be named, the teacher said he noticed a group of some 20 pupils behaving in an unruly manner in the school.

He said they broke several window panes while walking along the corridor.

“I warned them to stop making noise and told them to leave the place as they were disrupting my discussions with the pupils,” he told reporters at his house in Taman Sulaiman here.

He said the pupils left but came back again a short while later.

“I then took a cane and tried to chase them.

“At that time, another teacher who heard the commotion, came in and asked the pupils to leave,” he said.

He said the pupils returned and started to disrupt the meeting again and one of them threw a plastic table which hit his head, causing him to fall down.

Other teachers then rushed him to the Kulim Hospital where he was given outpatient treatment.

Kulim OCPD Supt Ghuzlan Salleh said the teacher lodged a police report after the incident.

He said some of the pupils would be picked up soon to facilitate investigations.

He actually threw a table towards the teacher. It's hard to picture a table being hurdled towards a teacher by a student and knock him down senseless, with an epic ending of six stitches.

Violence is taking over school.

Hello good people of wordpress and around the globe. I have ceased myself from abstaining from blogging. I have risen from the dead and now I'm a wondering spirit that's pretty much alive in any sense. Or I could be mortally alive in a another universe, a fact based on quantum theory. (Schrodinger's cat).

So as to celebrate the come back, let me entertain you with this great piece of news from TheStar Online. (Kinda long)

Classmates beat up student

PEKAN: A Form Three student who was constantly assaulted by a group of classmates who wanted money was hit with a chair and punched by them after she finally reported the matter to the principal.

The SMK Dato Mahmud Mat student said four of her male classmates, who called themselves “Geng Kapak” (Axe Gang), confronted her in class about 1pm on Tuesday, hitting her with a chair and landing blows on her face and body.

The battering, which took place in full view of other students, happened after the principal went to the classroom to look for the boys who were not in at that time.

Pekan OCPD Supt Yahya Othman confirmed that a report had been made on the assault, adding that the case was being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing grievous hurt.

A police patrol car was seen parked at the school compound at 11.15am yesterday.

The girl’s parents were in school to meet the principal over the attack.

Speaking to reporters at her home in Kampung Pulau Serai, the victim said she had been bullied by the four almost on a daily basis since Feb-ruary.

‘’They would ask for money, and wanted RM1 or at least 50 sen. They would even go to the extent of doing a body search on me,” she said.

“At times, I had to hide my lunch money in my shoes,” said the girl, who was transferred to the school early this year.

She added that there were times when the boys would hit her and knock her head against the wall for no reason, threatening her with knives and broken glass.

“They were not afraid of anyone,” she said, adding, that there were other students who were also victims of the four.

The girl, who was given three days’ medical leave, said she was traumatised by the assaults and was afraid to return to school.

According to the mother, her daughter had been complaining to her about the incessant bullying each time she returned from school.

‘’I advised her to report the matter to the school management and let them take care of the matter.

However, things appeared to be serious when she returned home on Tuesday with her face all flushed. She could not even walk properly,’’ said the mother, who added that she was shocked to learn that her daughter had been hit with a chair and punched by the boys.

The mother said a police report was lodged about 3.30pm on Tuesday

I know this is a serious matter, but honestly, I could not help but burst out laughing at the name of the gang. Geng Kapak! Hahahahahaha!

But this problem seems to occur frighteningly often, either in a small scale or a large scale. Students would demand money or any other suitable items from other students because they are Geng Kapak. Which generally means they can do anything they want. I probably need to consider forming a gang myself, and earn some formidable respect from my peers. I could give names like Geng Dadah, Geng Peransang, Geng Modes, or maybe Geng Ngajat.

I could just ruin a perfect day in a second. Smash the class' door, slam my fist on the table and while bearing the pain and shame of it all, I scream at the top of my voice to cover up my embarrassment. Shouting words that are undecipherable because there is actually no need for me to raise my voice in the first place. This often happen during girls' fights. They would scream at each other screaming words like "You look like a grandma with no kids! Nobody will marry you!" or "Your face looks like the mirror! Ugly". Nonsense.

Anyway, I pity the girl. Hope she'll recover soon. My advice to her is to form her own Gang. Axe Gang.

Probably by now you get what I'm trying to say. We are bombarded with news piece that is pertinent to death. It's as if the whole page was written by the Grim Reaper himself. But I believe he could have done better at writing. However, the message is set.

People's lives are claimed daily. If they are not lost, they are abandoned.

But the road has taken many lives. Innocent, guilty, Sarawakian, Indonesian,  a soldier or Hannah Montana, it doesn't matter. All that we know is the victims are those who are not aware that they are going to leave this world early. May their souls not appear on the road in the middle of the night playing Poker with the other lost souls to claim more lives.

Drive carefully people. You have three mirrors in your car. Use them wisely. You have an indicator to well.. indicate. |:. Use it. It's saddening to see such devastating news furnishing the papers.

Patheticsm.. A new religion for father figures!

MALACCA: A woman who became enraged after being slapped by her husband stabbed him in the chest during a fight at their home here last week.

The incident happened last Wednesday night when the 39-year-old woman returned home with her nine-year-old son to find her tipsy husband chatting with a neighbour.

An argument ensued between the couple, and the 41-year-old man slapped his wife after questioning her about her earlier whereabouts.

Incensed after being verbally and physically abused, the woman stabbed her husband twice in the chest with a kitchen knife.

The man was later rushed to the hospital and is currently warded in the Malacca Hospital’s intensive care unit.

Melaka Tengah Police District CID chief DSP Gan Chip Poh confirmed that a woman had been detained following the incident, but refused to divulge details owing to ongoing investigations.

At least readers of TheStarOnline have some sense in their coconut head. It won't work. It's the speed that drives them nuts. That gives them the power. Rehabilitation won't work. Like the poll suggests, beyond rehabilitation.

Sort of . I might have changed the structure. But you get what I mean. Your friend plays football, you join them, they play guitar, you start learning, they buy cigarettes, you smoke them. So when they bring a bike that sounds like 10 elephants farting, with a blistering speed 25 km/h, you'll get your own bike and start asking "How do you make that sound?".

Oh Why, Oh Why do you have to come back with him?

JOHOR BARU: A mother is finding it hard to forgive her daughter’s boyfriend although his family paid more than RM30,000 to secure her release from loan sharks.

Ooi Ah Jeow, 50, still held the boyfriend responsible for the mess her daughter, Teng Yee Lee, had gotten herself into.

Teng had gone gambling with her boyfriend, Chong Tze Kim, 30, and is believed to have incurred heavy losses after gambling there.

They were said to have borrowed money and the ah longs had taken two family cars as collateral.

“One of Chong’s parents then went to Kuala Lumpur to negotiate for the safe return of Teng and the release of the two cars by paying more than RM30,000,” said Johor Baru MCA Public Complaints Bureau deputy chief Michael Tay.

The 27-year-old was brought back to her home in Taman Tun Aminah here by Tay.

Ooi said she was relieved to have Teng back but she found it hard to forgive Chong.

On Jan 19, Teng had asked for the car keys on the pretext of servicing the vehicles for a trip to Penang.

Her mother later discovered that Teng had left home with the two vehicles and Chong.

Ahhh.. Ah long, ah long, ah long.. The story of the great money lender continues..

However, this story has some 'ambiguities' in it. The report says that it "is believed they have incurred heavy losses after gambling". Yeah, it is 'believed' that the world was created after the oh so majestic "Big Bang" and it is believed that I was raised by apes.  And also, the report saysthey were "said to have borrowed money and the ah longs had taken two cars as collateral". It is said too that Neil Armstrong ate durian on the moon and it is also said that there is Big Foot on a backpack holiday on Mars. "One of Chong's parents then went to Kuala Lumpur". One of my parents went to a women's conference and one of my parents went to the men's bathroom. Come on, don't know which one? Confidential maybe.

"She found it hard to forgive Chong". Poor dude, all the blame on him. Understood though. Own children are always innocent. Especially daughters.

However the last line of the report "Teng had left home with the two vehicles and Chong". I don't know, but it made me thought for a while that the daughter was the culprit here. Chong misdemenour was 'somehow' Teng's fault. "The robber escaped with RM1,000 in cash and a laptop" or "Husband had left home with Rm10,000 and a car".

But actually dear readers, the whole point of this news piece is not about the Ah Longs or the mess the two got into. Nobody cares about illegal loan sharks anymore. The title of the report says so :

BUFFALO (New York): State police say a truck driver was watching pornographic movies on his laptop computer when his rig struck a disabled car on the New York State Thruway near Buffalo last month, killing the driver.

Thomas Wallace of Ohio was arrested Tuesday. He’s been charged with second-degree manslaughter in the death of 33-year-old Julie Stratton, a mother of two from a Buffalo suburb.

The 45-year-old Wallace was being held in Genesee County Jail on Wednesday. It was unknown whether he had an attorney.

Investigators say Wallace also violated federal trucking rules by sleeping no more than four of 27 hours before the crash.

Where did he put his laptop? On the dashboard? On the passenger's seat?

Mum sets self on fire over recalcitrant teen.

NIBONG TEBAL: A 33-year-old mother suffered burns after allegedly setting herself on fire in an incident in Jalan Hutan Lipur here.

The mother of seven did so allegedly due to disappointment over the attitude of one of her daughters, police said.

Seberang Perai Selatan OCPD Supt Shafien Mamat said in the incident which occurred at 12.40am yesterday, the victim was advising her 15-year-old daughter, who was said to be seldom home.

The mother suddenly bolted out of the house, poured petrol on her body before lighting up a candle and setting herself on fire, he said.

“She told police that she was under pressure when dealing with her daughter,” he told a news conference yesterday.

Other members of the family, including her husband, came to her rescue.

The victim suffered 54% burns from the forehead to the abdomen and has been referred to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Star. — Bernama

Sorry, no offense intended. This was out of pure boredom. Oh yea, every story has a moral value. This one has two. One, always flush the toilet after you do your business. Second, never piss your mum off, cause they are the greatest people in the world. Peace out.

" What's wrong with sex? It's getting me media attention! "

KUALA LUMPUR: A 20-year-old college student who sought a medium’s help to end her streak of bad luck ended up having to sleep with the man.

She approached the medium, known only as master Choy, in April on the recommendations of her friends as she was worried about her well-being.

The 50-year-old medium told her she would not be able to get rid of the bad luck unless she had sex with a married man.

After some persuasion from the man, who is married, the girl agreed to have sex with him.

“He told me I had to sleep with a married man to get rid of all the bad luck,” she told a press conference at the MCA Public Services and Complaints Department here yesterday.

Before having sexual intercourse, the medium told the girl, who is pursuing a degree in nutrition at a college, to strip naked and pose for some photographs.

She realised that she had been cheated a few months later when her luck had not changed and worse, she had contracted a sexually transmitted disease from him.

She went back to the medium and threatened to expose him but he slapped her and warned that he would post her nude photographs on the Internet.

The girl claimed that the medium issued a death threat against her should she decide to lodge a police report.

“I am getting a lawyer now to file a case against him,” she said.

I realise that for the past few months, StarOnline had been posting a lot of news about 'sex'. Students getting cheated into having sex tops the list though.

Sexual education is doing just fine. It's in the media as well. The best way to spread information. What can any of us to do about it? Can it be stopped? Or will it continue and take it's place in the 'common non-deleterious acts'?

"Everyday, I kick his private part to wake him up"

A PHOTOGRAPHER in Chongqing, China, puts up with his wife beating him daily — all in the name of love.

Nanyang Siang Pau reported that the couple even have an agreement to avoid the beating from getting out of hand.

“We agreed that the beatings should not be too severe, failing which she will have to return to her parents and stay with them for three days,” said the young man, who was only identified by his surname Zhang.

Zhang said his wife had loved martial arts since she was young and that when they first met at a party, his friends had teased him about becoming her “punching bag” after marriage.

Recalling the first time he was beaten up by his wife, Zhang said he had teased her about her hairstyle.

“But despite all the beatings, I still love her,” the daily quoted him as saying.

Amazing love. One that may look at it in both perspectives. Wife loves her 'punching bag' and husband loves being the 'punching bag'. Plus, they had a 'special agreement' so it will not get out of hand. Huh?

How out of hand is out of hand? So, I guess it's like this. Imagine couple fighting over who's cooking for dinner.

"Okay honey, we can fight now. But please don't get out of hand, ok? I love you" leaves a smile which was smacked by wife. Oh, the world would really be a much better place if everyone (couples especially) love each other this way.

The best part is that he got beaten 'daily' and it's still considered not 'out of hand'. Wouldn't that leave bruises and all that behind? Daily beatings are surely deleterious to the physical being, right?

KUALA TERENGGANU: A teacher assaulted his girlfriend, who is also a teacher, in full view of her students after he suspected that she was cheating on him.

The 26-year-old allegedly assaulted the woman on two occasions in front of the students, threatened her at knife-point and stalked her when she was conducting classes at a primary school in Batu Rakit.

The victim, who is also 26, decided she had had enough and lodged a police report on Tuesday.

State CID chief Asst Comm Mohd Fauzi Abduri said that on Oct 26, the teacher invited the woman for lunch after classes to settle matters between them.

However, he stopped his car at Gong Badak stadium and started to hit her, causing the victim to suffer bruises.

He said since then, the teacher continuously intimidated the woman, pressuring her to reveal who she was seeing. He also assaulted the victim in her school compound.

ACP Mohd Fauzi said on Tuesday, the teacher again invited the woman for an outing but she refused to get into his car.

This angered the man who then dragged the victim into his car.

However, she managed to escape with a colleague’s help and lodged a police report in Batu Rakit.

He said based on the report, police detained the teacher at his home in Kamung Beladau Kolam here on Tuesday.

BELIEVE it or not, but a crazy Australian fan “buys” Shah Rukh Khan a piece of the moon every year on his birthday.

“Yes, an Australian lady buys a little land on the moon for me every year on my birthday. She has been buying it for a while now and I get these certificates from the Lunar Republic Society,” Shah Rukh Khan told a newspaper.

The Bollywood star who celebrated his 44th birthday on Monday has apparently met his fan and she keeps in touch with him all year through mail.

“She writes me colourful e-mail (in the sense one line is red, one is blue and so on).

“I feel blessed to have the love of so many people worldwide,” he said.

According to one online lunar real estate agency, www.lunarregistry.com , the “Sea of Tranquility” is the most sought-after address on the moon.

Now that's adding insult to injury. I mean. Come on. We all know Earth is relatively small in the Universe and the population is growing at a steady rate. But having a land on the Moon? That's nuts. Not only the moon is much smaller than the small Earth, there's no way for one to live up there!

Why have your own land on the moon? To live there during the summer? To escape from the hustle and bustle of Earth life? To shoot a new Bollywood movie on the moon?

Wait. The third proposal sounds cool. Imagine dancing and singing on the moon. Not just the couple. Don't forget the many back-up dancers. And they're floating around. In colourful sari. Spacesuits sari. Now, that would be an Academy Award winning movie. Would it fall under a Sci-fi play?

Sigh.. Money can indeed by everything. I w0nder what will happen if the moon is fully bought? Will astronauts pay to step on the moon? Probably a good investment.

Malaysia day is declared a public holiday beginning next year.

If you have at least glanced or listened at/to your surroundings, you might have heard that September 16th is declared a public holiday starting next year.

Phwaaa...!!!!

Who would have thought that it would take 46 freaking years for our leaders to realize the importance of September 16th.

I hope this little - for most Semenanjungs who doesn't actually care - yet huge - for us Sarawakians who expected something out the historical date - piece of news,  would not cause any political uproar, especially during this fragile moments.

Tanah Melayu had gotten their independence on 31st August 1957 and when Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore decided to join in the formation of Malaysia, the event was suppose to take place on 31st August 1963, but due to some impediments, it was delayed till 16 days later. Unfortunately - or fortunately, you decide -, Singapore left the federation 2 years later. Educated Malaysians should know this simple fact.

So, this wonderful piece of news definitely depicts the true spirit of being a Malaysian. Even if it took more than four decades for "them" to realize it.

Though one thing still preys my mind, if it is really to foster the "1Malaysia" spirit, will Malaysia day be more meaningful or "Tanah Melayu Day" would still be more a greater celebration? Our PM did mention :

PETALING JAYA, Sept 8 (Bernama) -- Police, who went to an apartment in Kota Damansara on Monday to seize a gun from a man who allegedly threatened to kill his 61-year-old father, instead found a hand-grenade on the suspect.

In the noon incident at the D'shire Villa unit, the 27-year-old suspect was detained for having the hand-grenade in his possession.

Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Ajunaidi Mohamed said the police raided the unit after receiving a report from the former political secretary who claimed that his son had threatened to kill him with a gun, following a misunderstanding.

Anyway, why threaten to kill your father with a gun? Something somewhere must have gone terribly wrong.

KUALA LUMPUR: What was to have been a quiet night out among three friends at a restaurant in a shopping centre here last Sunday night turned out to be a traumatic experience.

Katrina Danielle, 25, an intern with an international organisation here, was having dinner with a couple from Australia at a restaurant at a shopping complex in Bangsar when five men who were drinking at the next table attacked and robbed them.

Apparently the victim also stated that no one in the shopping complex came to their aid. Typical Malaysians. Orang kenak tumbuk la tembak la, just do nothing except to enjoy the view and obviously stand in "amazement". Know why?

You help, you are bound to go through rubbish later. Kena question by police la, become suspect la what la. Same like school, where there are students embroiled in a fight, the others would just spectate. All because if they extend their arm between the fight, they would have to face the disciplinary teachers as well.

There are many instances where teachers do not believe their students when they try to EXPLAIN they didn't do anything wrong. The educators would just ignore our long list of explanations by using unnecessary superior power. I was/am in that group of unfortunate students.

"Nak gaduh kha? Gaduh saja la. Saya tidak akan kacau punya."

You get the picture I suppose.  So what to do when you see people in trouble? Lend a hand you bloody idiots.

JOHOR BAHARU, Aug 17 (Bernama) -- A police constable suffered burns on his body after he was allegedly splashed with acid by his wife at the couple's home in Nusajaya, here, Monday.

In the 4.30am, the policeman who is in his 20's was in the house with his girlfriend when the incident happened.

It is believed that the policeman and his wife were in the process of getting a divorce.

Nusajaya police chief Supt Abdul Aziz Ahmad confirmed the incident and said the policeman and his girlfriend who suffered minor injuries received treatment at Sultanah Aminah Hospital.

The policeman's wife, in her 20's, was arrested and being investigated, he said.

Haha. In star online today, a 54 year old man was fined RM2000 and jailed a day. Why?

Stealing undergarments. Women's undergarment actually. Sexy juak la.

Apparently the man stole bras, panties and I don't know what else (report says "other items") from a hypermarket in Johor Baru. He was charged with stealing RM404.95 worth of undergarments.

K.N. Ragavelloo is reported to be jobless, but you never know, maybe this was his job.

Anyway, he could face four months in prison, away from all the panties, if he fails to pay the fine.

It was not mentioned in the report on the motive though. Could it be for his wife or himself?

Looks like the fishmonger won the ball game.

Official results: PAS candidate Mohd Fauzi Abdullah has won the Manek Urai by-election by a majority of 65 votes. He polls 5,348 votes against Barisan candidate Tuan Aziz Tuan Mat, who received 5,283 votes.
